How to Care for Leather Footwear — and Make It Last a Lifetime

Leather is a living material. It breathes, it absorbs moisture, it responds to how it is treated.

Never wear the same pair two days in a row. Leather needs 24 hours to dry and recover its shape.

After every wear, wipe with a soft dry cloth to remove dust and surface moisture. For deeper conditioning, use a neutral leather conditioner.

The goal is never to preserve a shoe in amber. It is to let it age beautifully — to develop the kind of patina that only comes from being genuinely lived in.
